Invisalign and Veneers
Unfortunately this young woman suffered from severe tetracycline stain. Tetracycline is an antibiotic that severely stains teeth if given to pregnant women or young children (see “Tetracycline Solutions” on our website for more information about tetracycline stain https://robertsdental.ca/service/tetracycline-solutions/). She also had one tooth in the upper front that was severely crowded out of position, and her lower front teeth were quite crooked. The badly crowded tooth was extracted and several months of Invisalign treatment corrected the remaining crowding before we started. Straightening the teeth first allowed the veneer preps to be very conservative. Nine porcelain veneers and a 3 unit porcelain bridge were placed on the top teeth and twelve porcelain restorations were also placed on the lower teeth. This young woman now loves to smile!
